Jul. 17th, 2004 02:08 pmI've been home for about 10 days now, and nothing out of the extraordinary has happened. This is because I'm almost alone here in Copenhagen. Everyone else has left the country.
So I've kinda bonded with Nika. We went to Strøget to look at which stores were in need of help, and stuff like that. We've also started to go to some gym-thing in Fælledparken. It's called Friskis & Svettis, it's an hour twice a week and it's free. The first time I was the colour of a plum in the face afterwards, but already the next time I was only like a very very dark peach, so it's getting better! Yay!!
We also went and saw Spider-Man II yesterday. It wasn't half bad, I must say! It certainly was better than the first one...
I've also ordered some DVD's online, which I got yesterday. It's "The Talented Mr. Ripley" and "Dead Poets Society". All in all it was 170 kr (incl. delivery), which is about 22 . So it was a very good deal! The reason they were so cheap, is because the cover is in Swedish, but that has no effect on the movie at all, because on all Scandinavian DVD's you choose your country as the first thing, when you insert the DVD. So, yay!! *twirls*
I saw "The Talented Mr. Ripley" yesterday, after seeing Spiderman. I was home alone and I don't think I knew what the movie was about, really, other than Tom would take over Dickey's identity. I was extrememly surprised as to how good the movie really was. The whole Tom/Dickey-relationship was giving me the creeps (even though I loved both characters) and the Tom/Peter-relationship gave that warm and fuzzy feeling inside. I really thought Tom would tell him. I cried at the very end. *sigh* Wonderful movie!
I've seen the last 4-5 stages of the Tour de France. I really thought that this was one sprt that I would never understand, but right now I feel like I've been watching it the last 10 years, that's how much I feel like I know...!!
*cheers for Mickael Rasmussen* Go, go, Mickael!! And Voight, too, I guess...
