Aug. 18th, 2004 11:20 pmFirst of all I want the whole world to know that Denmark has officially won their first medal. It's bronze and it was in male shot put (kuglestød, in Danish). So, go us!! Also, please let the Danish yngling boat do great the next few days, because they seriously have to win!
In addition to saving the Olympics in my little box (reffering to my current MSN name), I also want to add the Danish football/soccer team. They played so beautifully tonight it's not even funny. They had a whole lot of new players and played in a new formation, but they still managed to play the best football I've seen in a long time. Which might explain why they won 5-1... And Christian Poulsen played better than he has in a long time, so I'm all smiles! Yay!!!
The Olympic swimmers are beginning to whisper the word 'slash' to me, which may not be the best idea, because I don't know where to find any, so if anyone knows, please tell me. Prefferably with Michael Phelps, Ian Thorpe or Pieter van den Hoogenband (yes.)
I can't wait for the athetics
I was sitting this afternoon, watching the Olympics on Swedish television (male beachvolley. Yay, they won!) and it suddenly hit me how much I wanted to be in Sweden at that point and not in Denmark. So, naturally, I wrote to Thea (because she loves Sweden as much as me). She asnwered that we had to do something about that, and that she would take me to Malmö as my birthday gift. So sweet! I know it's not that far away, but it's really the thought that counts
1500 kr, and counting.
