Oct. 8th, 2004 07:24 amI just passed my second driving test! I am extremely happy!
I was a lot less nervous than I was the last time. This time I could actually eat before I left and it didn't feel like I had to go to the bathroom all the time. I met up with my instructer at 12:30 and then we drove around Copenhagen for 30 mins. At 13:15 I met the examinator, who was really nice. He started out asking my stuff about the car, like how deep the pattern on the tyres are supposed to be (1.6 mm), if I could explain the near light (I could, the light beam slopes 1 % per metre and should light up the road for 30 metres) and how much th brakes are supposed to go down when you press it (half way down). Then we drove from Hovedbanegården, passed Fisketorvet and Calrsberg Breweries. Out thought Hvidovre and then ended up in Rødovre. He told me to drive into a surburban neighbourhood, where he asked me to parallel park. I was so good. It was such a beautiful thing... *sigh* But I made two mistakes: I drove through a round-about, where I didn't see a man who looked like he was about to go over the pedestrians crossing. And the car went out when I had to go left in a crossing, but I quickly started the car again and saved the situation.
So all in all he told me that I had passed in spite of those two mistakes, because I drove so great the rest of the time. So, yes. I passed!!!
Give me a cookie and a hug, please!
