Jan. 16th, 2003 10:27 pmHmm... So apparently the last time I updated was monday, so I should probably tell you a bit about what I've done the following days. you can just skip it if you don't want to hear about it. Rant coming up, I can sense it!
Tuesday:
School was kinda boring, even though I actually understood what my teacher was talking about in physics! And we analysed our prime minister's New Years' speach in society study, which was a lot of fun. And I said something that actually made sense! Afterwards I met up with Line and Thea and we went home to watch Smallville (heh - what can I say? it's contageous!). We watched the promo and metamorphosis and Thea went home. She has the hots for Lex...! Line stayed and we just kinda did nothing the next 5-6 hours, which we always end up doing when it's just the two of us. Ended the day by reading "Silence of the Lambs" at 1 am. Cannot be recomended!
Wednesday:
PE in my first period, which is always a killer, even though I like what we are doing at the moment. In geography we were given a continent the size of Africa and a place on Earth and had to make up the weather conditions. Mine and Marias were in Centralamerica, which would mean that they would have massive amounts of earthquackes and volcanoes. We predicted that our country ("The Land of Darwin") would be destroid within the next 20 years. Library after school Line and me tried to teach Nicole about the geography of Copenhagen (she's lived in Copenhagen for about 12 years and she can't find her way to Kongens Nytorv!). At the library I got hold of "Two for the Dough", which means that when I'm finished with that I've read 7 out of 8 in the Stephanie Plum series! Yay! Went to bed at 9:30 pm. Don't look so shocked!!
Today:
Society study and history. We learn about the Holocaust (which we've all had about berfore, but we're going to Berlin in march...). My grandmom is jewish and her family immigrated to Sweden during the War. She could have been killed = I wouldn't exist (and all of your lifes would be extremely boring!). Sometimes it's just a little too close and personal... Society study. Debate about the sexes. We are 4 girls in a class of 19. You do the math.
Right now I'm doing my homework. I have too much homework. I just finished my Spanish paper on El Señor de los Anillos and I should be doing my society study-thing. He told us to do a New Years eve-speach just today and it has to be finished tomorrow. Sometimes I hate that man... And then I have to read "El Mariachi" (*giggle*) and "Silence of the Lambs". *sigh*. All of it is for tomorrow.
