Apr. 10th, 2003 02:56 pmSo, monday I go to school and get there at 7:45, as I planed, but Alex hadn't done his part of the assignment, so he couldn't turn it in. I figured he would do it after we got home from Sweden, but it turned out he did it yesterday. I was kinda mad at him...
Anyway, we have this thing called a "block-week" (blokuge), in which you have one class a day (8 am - 3 pm), like in blocks. Monday was history (but my Danish teacher was there, too) and we went to Sweden. We didn't get anything history-ish out of the trip, but it was fun!
Tuesday was only 3 ½ hours and all we had to do was write short essays about street children. Good day. I also stumbled upon a historical discussion about the sexuality of Alexander the Great. My mom was deeply impressed when I told her.
But then wednesday came. Math. All day. Gah! We did what we'd usually do in a week and a half! We learned stuff I didn't even want to know! Later we had one of my mom's English teacher collegues over for dinner.
And today I have the entire day off! Yay! I woke up at 11, but only because my mom was sanding my door, because she's painting all of the door frames in the house. It will take 3 whole days. She only does this because she's on vacation already, which I find extremely annoying.
Oh, I forgot to say that my dad is in Nice (hwre it's about 15-20 degrees), while we're stuck here in Denmark freezing our asses off! It snowed yesterday! It's not supposed to snow in April! Grrr!!!
