Oct. 25th, 2003 07:51 pmI've had an interesting 24 hours.
I went to Rebekkas birthday party, which was pretty fun. Except that she had invited about 8 of her ex-boyfriends to join, too. All in all we were those 8 boys, 10 from our class, two girls and her brother, Eric, who sat at our end of the table. Because we naturally divided ourselves into two groups at the table. Us from Østre Borgerdyd and then Rebekka and her friends. Nevermind that, because I, Nicole, Thea and Eric actually had one of the best conversations I've had in a very long time. Eric is the epiphany of America. You know, fredom, every man for himself and so on. The rest of us is a really long way out on the left wing. We talked for 3 hours.
At 12 we left for the City, because we were going to go to a club. Maria, Line, Nika and Nicole H decided to go home, because they were tired, which left me, Nicole B, Thea and Nina to go to Pan, which is the gay club in Copenhagen. At first I were really disappointed because there were so many heterosexuals. We ordered a drink each (80 kr = 13 $ each!!!) and started dancing. And then we noticed someone we all knew. This wasn't someone we knew from school or were fridns with or something. This was a person we've all seen on TV for the last year. It was our dear dear friend, Bjørn Lomborg. Every one knows he's gay, but it's an intirely different thing to actually see him making moves on other men, while you think of all the stupid things he's said. And let me just say, fellow Danes and people who know him, he cannot dance. At all. It was actually pretty sad, because he danced alone for about an hour, but he still kept on smiling.
Bjørn Lomborg wasn't the only one there. There was also this couple who reminded me so so much of Harry and Draco. One of them was slightly taller than the other, has brown hair, had darker skin and wore black clothes. The other has kinda long, blond hair and wore an all white outfit. both of them wore wife beaters. The Harry clone kept going down to his critch to dance, so I could bare concentrate on dancing. They were just so cute and so gay!! I bet they were both hair dressers.
Then something happened that I couldn't have predicted. Thea has an ex-girlfrind in Norway and, I found out later on, they still sleep together because "Thea has to have sex on a regular basis". Way too much information. Anyway, Thea also has a kinda-girlfriend in Denmark. In spite of this Thea found herself a Swedish soccer player in the crown yesterday. They started dancing together and suddenly Nina looked over at them and they were kissing. This isn't me being the jealous ex-girlfriend, because I'm not attracted to Thea anymore. This is me thinking of the feelings of both Lene (the psyco ex-girlfriend, who's extremely in love with Thea and so she'll take what she can get) and Sabrina (who I think is also in love with Thea). Nicole let me in on all of the blanks on the way home from Pan and we decided that Thea just can't have a steady relationship (which is why she gets herself girlfriends from Norway, southern Denmark and now Sweden). I've never heard of this side of Thea at all before, so let me just say that I was shocked! I don't know what to do with all of this information...
Today I had to do the society studies assignment (15 pages), so we had to meet up in my group. We're me and two girls called Mette and Mai (not to be confues with Me & My). I went to Mettes house and since Mai hadn't shown up yet Mette called her. Apparently her dad had just called her to say that her cousin had just been declared brain dead. As she was closer to Mette's house she went over to us. She told us that the whole process from being a normal boy with noe signs of brain damage at all to being kept alive with respirator (sp?) it took 1 day. He's probably dead now. It's needless to say that we didn't get much work done. We called our teacher and told this to him and he said that we could just turn it in when we felt like it, because he didn't want to put pressure on Mai.
We'll I'll just go eat dinner now. Remeber to turn your clocks one hour backwards at 3 am tonight!!!
