Jan. 3rd, 2004 03:21 pmI've finished "Livlægens Besøg"! I finished reading it! Yay me!! Now I'm prepared!! It was actually a quite good book.
To all of you who don't know what it's about, I can tell you that it's about the period of time in the middle- to late-18th century, where we in Denmark had an extremely scizophrenic king. Therefore he had to have a helper, which turned out to be Struensee, a German. He had an affair with the Queen (who was British), in which they had a little daughter. While being the king's helper, he got himself the position of what a Prime Minister would be today, so in the 4 years of being in power he made over 600 new laws, all of them following the ideas of the educational era (or whatever it's called in English. You know, the whole French Revolution-thingie)
Yes.
*wheeeeeeeee!!!!*
