Feb. 7th, 2005 11:11 pmI started work today, which was very very interesting. I won't go into too much detail (becuase it really isn't that interesting for you), but it was definitely an experience. It was fun, but it was tough. I really haven't done this much physically in a very long time, so I am extremely exhausted now. I didn't sit down between 12:30 and 5:00, so my legs were killing me in the end. The three other people I'm working with (piccolo's) are really nice, especially the girl who votes Conservative and went to Herlufsholm boarding school (sometimes my openmindedness surprises even me ;) ). Right now I am just really tired and confused about everything. I met about 50 new people and I learned how they do everything at the office, so now I just need to sleep and prepare for the new day tomorrow.
Tomorrow is election day. Two weeks ago I would say that there was no way the left wing would be able to win this election, but now I'm not so sure anymore. The last few days have seriously helped and they are now only a few percentages apart. And there are still over 10 percent who have no decided who to vote for. They ususally end up voting Socialdemocratic. SO, election tomorrow! Very exciting!!
The day after tomorrow is football day. Greece-Denmark. They said in the newspaper what in the 14 matches we've played, the score has been 40-15, so the statistics are definitely on our side. We have a lot of injuries and a few red cards from the last matches (I'm looking at you, Jesper Grønkjær!), but I don't think it's too bad. This weekend Dennis Rommedahl, Gravesen and Peter Madsen scored and Jon Dahl is really in shape as well. Our weak point is the defense and Thomas Sørensen, who really has not had a good start this year. I'm just crossing my fingers for him...
Going to bed now. Sorry for not commenting, but I am really exhausted...
