Feb. 27th, 2005 03:48 pmAm watching Denmark-Sweden from the Euro. I think my eyes have welled up two or three times now, because it is just that good! This is the team I miss and love! This is how we should play all the time! Martin Laursen, you are my GOD! I love you! Grønkjær, you know I love you. Jon, you are the ultimate Danish player, ever! Christian, I love and adore you. Thomas Sørensen, you saved three shots at goal in 10 seconds, I love you. Ebbe, you will always have a special place in my heart.
In one single minute, Christian Poulsen got in the game, Jon Dahl and Erik flirted like you wouldn't believe and Jon scored his secnd goal. That was just the best minute in the whole match... *sigh* Also, Wilhelmsson? You're just way too pretty for your own good. As is
I miss good, Danish football... Martin Laursen, I miss you! Get well soon! Oh! Now the Danish fans are singing "Vi sejler op ad åen" in full force!! *loves*
I've been wondering, do you think Christian would mind if I liked his thigh? Because it is veeery lickable!
Okay, and now I actually cried. Mathias Jonson scored and the match ended and everyone was just so happy! *wipes away tears* Nearly naked Christian, confused Jon Dahl, happy happy fans and rejoicing all around.
And now? Liverpool-Chelsea and cleaning of my room.

Date: 2005-02-27 07:31 pm (UTC)My dad used to sing this to us when we were kids. We had slightly problems deciding what the last word was, as å isn't a word in particular usage in Norway. So, naturally, when we sang it by ourselves later, we substituted "åen" with "doen" (aka. toilet.) Being five years old, it added a sense of whimsy to the song. Though we could never understand why someone would sail up and down a toilet. ;)
