Feb. 18th, 2003 11:45 pmI promised
vampirespider that I would write about my holiday in Italy and since the essay I'm writing right now isn't going anyway I might as well write about it now.
We left saturday the 8th at 7:30 am and returned sunday the 16th at 11 pm. We flew from Malmö airport to Stansted in London to Rome and took the night train the Taormine, where my family lives. During the week we didn't actually do anything out of the ordinary. It was about 25 degrees warmer than in Denmark (-10 degrees - 15 degrees), which was a nice change, but it kept raining all the time. We did walk every day, though, ate ice cream and walked on the corso like we would have done in June. I also finished my book "The Silence of the Lambs" (very good! go read!) and started the book
muha had lured me into buying. "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" I love it! So much! I kept giggling while reading it! (the version I got had all 6 stories, which was goos because I finished the first two). I also had to write my society study report during my stay, which was a pain in the arse. It ended up with 4 pages and a quote from the "hitchhiker"-book. Heh.
Oh! And I saw "Crush" in Italian!! Which was very very wierd, because they had given Lex this very high vioce, which was so not Lex-y (heh...). But it was very much fun! And my sister actually looked like she enjoyed it!
At the end of the week I was so much in need of slash that I saw gay men everywhere I looked. Which was very frightening. I don't even want to know what will happen this summer when I go to the USA for 3 weeks...
So, that was mys trip! There were a lot of other things I didn't write about, but they were just not interesting enough... I'll leave you now to finish my essay and then I have to practise the math-thing I have to do in front of the whole class tomorrow (the class which consists of 8 people...)
