I woke up this morning with the worst eczema in my face for a long time. I hurried to put my lotion in my face, but it's still there now. At times it goes away for an hour or so, but for me it's still there psycologicaly, which means that I get extremely self concious

I hate this!!

No, I don't. But I used to have a very big issue with pimples, because they were *everywhere* and my face was red and disgusting all the time, and then one day my face would be alright, and the next... BOOM!

It sucks.

Aww, sorry to hear that :(. I have the whole eczema thing going on too (atopic eczema to be exact). Lovely that. Went to the pharmacy just last week and the next few months' lotions and such cost a mere 640 euros.

Yeah, same here. Luckily my parents pay, but I don't know what I'll do when I'm a poor student with no money and a rent to pay...

Same here with the paying. But at least there's KELA (The Social Insurance Institution of Finland) so it's not that bad. Basically after we've spent a certain sum of money on my prescribed medication (lotions included of course), we get our money back for the medication we buy after that.

So now that it cost 640€ last week, the next time we'll just have send KELA the receipts and they pay the money back to us (of course it takes them ages, red tape and all, but I'm hardly complaining since if we'd have to pay it all and not get anything back? well, the wait isn't that bad in comparison *g*) .

Don't you have something like that too? I have an impression you do, but then, that might be just my inclination to believe that the Nordic countries handle these things much better than for example the US ;). I doubt I'm wrong either way *G*

Yeah, we have stuff like that, too. But I'm not sure lotion is covered by that company, too... But medicine is!

Thought so :). Yeah, here it's pretty strict about the lotions and such too, so it's not like every tube of bottle of Nivea or whatever is covered. Basically if it's from the pharmacy and you've got a prescription that has a stamp saying you need it for something like severe atopic eczema, it's covered.
