EXACTLY! I mean, yes, he´s pretty and he´s...well, he´s pretty. That´s basically what he has going for him. Dude has one expression, and it worked alright for LotR because elves don´t really show that much emotion, but WHOA am I getting sick of seeing that same expression all over the friggin place now. *bored expression*
Yeah, and I guess that's why we were all crazy about him after LOTR, because we didn't realise that he has no ability to act, what-so-ever! Then Pirates of the Carribean came and we all thought, "hmm... Something's not quite right here..." Troy was, for me, the last straw. It was the exact same part as LOTR and PotC, and the exact same face expression *sigh*
God, I remember seeing Pirates and expecting this masterpiece from all the raves it was getting and was left with a distinct feeling of meh? I haven´t even seen Troy, and I don´t have any plans on doing it...
Have you seen that Midsomer Murders episode that he´s in? It´s recorded in 98 and he is not. very. good. in it, but really you´d think after all that experience he´s gotten lately he´d be at least a little bit better, but nope. Just...nope. O.O
Heh... Yeah, I saw it just after FOTR, so I really thought he was a normal, average-to-good actor. I can remember thinking something like "did I just miss something?"
