Oh. My. God. I just had the best driving lesson ever. I actually like driving now and I'm not nervous as hell every time I come to a junction! We spend a complete hour going thrrough what I had learned with Stupid Teacher, which went something along the lines of "Have you learned this?", "no...?", "My god, that teacher sounds more and more stupid. But I can teach it to you!" So, basically he told me that I'm a good driver (especially since it's three months since I was last driving a car), but I need some structure in the actual knowledge, which he can teach me, since he must be one of the most structured teachers in the world!

He told me at the end that He'd take my apllication and order a driving test, which would be at the end of September, so we'd have a lot of time to get me up to the level I'm supposed to be at. This is also very new to me, because before I was lucky if I had two lessons in a month, but now I have to learn everything in under a month! But I actually believe I can! He teaches me things and gives me homework for when I'm riding my bike!

So, now he's booking a test and I've just got a date for the lesson, where you drive around in soap and on slippery surfaces and learn stuff about how to use the brakes. I could have my license in less than a month. I could have had my license for a while in October.

YAY!!!! I'm so FUCKING happy!!! *dances and twirls*

It's really great news that you're finally getting an instructor that actually knows how to teach. I was so lucky, I had the most wonderful and funny driving instructor, he was a jounior high teacher in his every day life, so he was used to teaching. It was especially good since I had all my theory and most of my driving lessons in just two weeks!

You're right. That might've been a smart plan. But then again, back then I'm not sure if you'd realized that it was your instructor and not you there was something wrong with!

But I'm glad things are finally going in the right direction. But I can totally understand if you're tired of all the time and money you've wasted on a no-good instructor! Makes you wonder why he's even teaching in the first place!!!
