Sep. 27th, 2004 11:47 pmThe driving lesson went pretty well. I can certainly drive, no question about that, but I seem to have some problems with the orientation in the car. I kinda just start blinking and changing lanes without turning around to see if there are cars behind me. I just use the mirror and sometimes that's not enough. But I'll work on that tomorrow. We covered the technical part also, which was a lot easier than I'd thought, so, yay!! I have the theory book, so it's just a matter of me actually reading it. Which I'll do tomorrow.
I had my first Swedish lesson today. It was really nice to see Thea again, but she still has a way of either making you feel like you're the only person in the world or the most unsignificant person in the world. That's kinda the probelm with her... But we're going to Malmö on Saturday, her birthday gift to me. I wonder where I put the ticket... Hmm... Anyway, Swedish lesson! It was really nice, because we covered some pronounciations I've always wondered about. I mean, I can pronounce the different sounds, I just didn't know when it was the 'ch' in 'chock' or the 'kyo' in 'Kyoto'. So, yay! Lots to learn!
That's kinda it. I have a dentist appointment at 8 am tomorrow. I haven't been up at 7 am since one point in the beginning of May. Bugger...
Get well,
