Went to Swedish. Nice enough, but I didn't learn as much as I did the last time. So, yeah. I think I need some more grammar excercises if I'm going to learn more.

Thea and I decided to go to Malmö tomorrow, which'll probably be nice. We're going pretty late in the afternoon, so I hope the shops will still be open. I'm gonna buy some Swedish books, so I can learn Swedish the same way I learned English (reading slash *cough*).

I just checked the Danish football website, which said that the Danish football team is training/working out in Vedbæk these days. Tomorrow and Wednesday they start at 10 am, and on Monday they start at 4 pm. So, yeah, I think I might be heading up there, to see if I can see/meet/have hot sweaty sex with Christian Poulsen. Anyone want to go with me?

The Parliament opens tomorrow!! Yay!!! *dances* I can't wait!! *hugs Jeppe Kofod, Frank Jensen and Morten Helveg Petersen*

There is talk about the election being "opened/announced" tomorrow. DO you know how mad I will be if they do that? Five years. Five fucking years, probably longer, i've been waiting to vote. They have no right to do this to me!!

*panics*

I know! But they've been talking about May and June, so just have to hope they choose June instead of May!

If they went the entire four years the election would be held the day before Clara turns 18. She got so angry when she found out.

I love how the Danish website tells you EXACTLY where the team is, at all times, it seems! I would so go with you. *shakes fists from across the pond*

Heh... It's only when they're in Denmark, which they really aren't as much as I'd want them to.

Oh! Come with me! Fly over here! Move over here! I'd be much easier to get football news if you actually lived in a football country!

I just realised that I might not even have the time to go see them this time. But I want to! I want to see Christian with my own two eyes! And not with rows of people in front of me, like when I see them play!

Hee! Would visiting you mean I have a place to crash? ;D

I just love the Denmark press kits... partly because they also post them in English, so they're one of the few things I can read. o.o

Well, I guess it does! But I should probably ask my parents first... It is their house, you know!

Ha! Yeah, I see that! Do you know if Sweden has a site like that?

They had guides for World Cup and Euro in English, but they might have more in Swedish... it's just that I totally can't read it. T_T If you'd like to try your luck...

Also, just how different are Danish and Swedish? 'Cos you're taking Swedish, but you were able to translate Erik's journal (bless you!), and I've heard that Danes and Swedes can understand each other in speech... (and yes, this is because I'm plotting more JD/Erik stuff, mwuhahaha)

Yay!! You so rock like a rocking thing!

Both languages are based on German, but they have some differences. But there is the fact that Denmark has owned Sweden over a hundred years or more (I think), so that way the two languages became a little bit more similar. The pronounciation is very different, which would probably be the biggest difference, and about half the words are really different as well. But words like 'er' (DK) and 'är' (SWE) (which means 'is' or 'to be') are somewhat similar.

Mostly Danes and Sweden can understand each other (especially if they talk slowly), but there are some people who cannot understand the other language. I know a few of them...

I hope I helped a bit! If you need more help for the fic, just let me know!

*imagines a T-shirt saying "Denmark ownz j00!"*

Thank you so much! :D Just one more question: do most Danes know English, and if so, is it typically taught in schools? *snugs you*

Yeah, I think 90 % of the Danes of 18 can speak pretty good English. We start learning English in 3rd grade and then have it 'til 9th. And then two years more in high school. So, yeah. People can speak English!

I want that shirt!! Yay!!

It's funny, because one of my friends have a Swedish girlfriend and they speak in English to each other. It's always struck me as weird, but I guess it's to avoid confusion. But I'd like it better if they spoke in Danish/Swedish...

Darling dear, I hope this isn't too much and too late, but if you're going to Sweden, do you think you can buy a copy of Manga Mania for me? Ofcourse I'll pay you back! Sometime... in.. the.. future.

Hm, btw, why are you taking Swedish? Though... Swedish slash? Tell me if you find any?

I've bought it! But how should I mail it?

I'm taking Swedish because I want to be able to actually speak Swedish. I understand it pretty well, but I can't form sentences and things like that. So...

Right. True. It's bloody expensive to mail it. Eh. If you just keep it for... several months until I actually go to DK and pick it up?

Hm. The same with me and Danish, I suppose. Except of that I'm too lazy to actually take it up!
