I accidently stumbled upon the movie about Ruby Bridgets, the little black girl who came to an all-white school in 1960. She was met with protests every single day, but still loved going to school, where she was the only student, because all the parents had taken their children out. It just hit me, that this little girl had no idea what a difference in the world she was going to make. That she loved learning and didn't care that people yelled at her. The movie was a made-for-TV movie, so it's kinda with a romantic point of view, but that doesn't change the fact that this really happened and hat Ruby changed so much, like Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King.

I've cried the entire movie so far, and it isn't even finished. I just can' believe the amount of hatred directed at her. That people can hate a person so much, just because of the colour of her skin. That people will join in a protest every single day, just so they can shout hatefull things at a person who has done nothing wrong in the first place! It makes me cry all over again, just thinking about it!!

How can people be so wrong and not even see it?
