Oct. 24th, 2004 01:17 pmI think I want to do with the rest of my life. It's such a weird feeling.
Yesterday I got some information from University of Copenhagen. I got some folders for Economy, Statistics, the Physics and Geography and geoinformatics. It wasn't until about 2 am this morning/night/whatever I had the chance to read some of them (because I had spent the entire day with Line), but I started reading about Geography and Geoinformatics and something just clicked inside me. It has a really nice amount of physics and chemestry, but it still has a lot of social science and stuff like that. It's not too heavy on the statistics, but has some classes on digital maps and stuff like that. It just seems like the perfect match for me! And I don't have to choose exactly what it is I want to study, because the first 1 1/2 years everyone has the same classes and after that you can choose between four lines (nature geography, geoinformatics, enviromental geography and society geography (samfundsgeografi)).
I have to have Chemestry B to study it, but I can apply with only a C-level, because they have classes all though August, so I can take it when the time comes. And it's not that I don't think I can handle the chemestry; I just never had any good teachers.
Yay!!! I'm so excited!!! *bounces* It's so crazy!!!!
The funny thing is that it's so close to what my dad works with. He's a geophysicist. The even funnier thing is that I'd study it where he works, called the "Geocenter". They've just gathered everything related to geography and geology.

Date: 2004-10-24 05:53 am (UTC)I didn't think there was anything I could do well, I'm such an average student it's not even funny. But now I've found Geography, where you don't have to be brilliant at maths or society studies, but you can be just a average and do great anyway.
