Arafat died at 3:30 am this morning. I'm not really sure what to think right now... I think I'll just the the journalists do the thinking for now. It's as [livejournal.com profile] lattara said, he's one of those people you just expect to be around somewhere in the background always. RIP, Yassir.

In more cheerful news, I've been talking a lot with the two American girls and they're really nice. It's just me who's a prat about meeting new people. It's so weird, because having two American girls chatting in the livingroom reminds me so much of all these movies and series. And I can't get over the fact that they use the word 'like' in every other sentence.

Tomorrow I'm going to the book fair in Forum with my grandmom and uncle. Should be a lot of fun! I've been going the last couple of years (six, I think) with my grandmom, so, yeah. Kinda a tradition.

Football news:
Schalke won!! Yay!!! *dances* 2-0 over Eintracht Frankfurt, I think.I'm so happy!! Next match is on Saturday against Herta BSC, which has to be won!

Denmark is playing on Wednesday!! Against Georgia, so this is also a match we have to win. We still have a lot of injuries and stuff like that, but the team should be about 70 % intact.

Same here. It's just... weird now.

Hello and welcome to the worst problem to ever hit the American dialect. Sadly, I am occasionally one of them. x_x Are they from California? It wouldn't surprise me if they are...

You'll be happy to know, not all of us say 'like' constantly. I barely do and if I slip up, I catch myself. I also never had one of those voices. You know, the really young and kind of airheaded sounding ones. And I don't overuse slang (if I ever call someone a hottie, I will kill myself right then and there) or giggle. I'm guessing your girls do all this stuff. If so, I'm so sorry, I know how annoyng those types can be. But not all American girls are like that, I swear.

No, that's the weird part. One of them is from Boston and Washington DC and the other one lives in Conneticut. They're so normal, but this little word keeps messing up their image. It's kinda funny, though...!
