Beautiful Thing May just be the best movie, ever. I'm still all warm and fuzzy inside *sigh*. Let me just say that I cried. Three times. Because of the cuteness and the boy love and the loveliness. I feel like I did back with Jake and Hamilton from YA, which has to be the ultimate feeling a fangirl can ever get when watching a movie or TV-show.

I cannot complete sentenses when I've cried and the hour has passed midnight. So now I will go to bed and dream of wheat fields, white bunnies, rose gardens and gay boys kissing up against trees... *dreams*

Aha! It's a movie about two British boys of about 16 years, who are neighbours. Ste's dad hits him, so sometimes he has to sleep with Jamie's family and sometimes even in his bed *gasp*. One night Jamie asks Ste if he can rub peppermint lotion on his back, which leads to him kissing Ste. The next morning Ste wakes up and we see that he isn't wearing pants *gasp*. Ste goes through the whole "I'm not gay! I can't be gay!"-deal, but after some time he realises that he really does love Jamie.

It's so so sweet and I love it so much. And I'm watching it again right now...! You really need to see it at some point!

*SQUEES until the cows come home*

I. freaking. LOVE that movie. *waves DVD* It was so painfully cute, all of it. Hands down one of the best gay films ever.

btw, my da says that it's more than likely your da was at his workplace in Menlo Park, but they would have been in two different places (different departments). Still weird, tho!

Me too! I got it Thursday and I've watched it twice already (I can't very well watch it during the day, so I watch it from 1-2:30 am). But yesterday I lent it out to a friend and for some reason it hurts inside me. I really want her to see it, but I want my copy of it for myself!

My dad said he was in the actual Stanford buildings. I think the only time he was in Menlo Park was at some get-together in some street. This was when I wasn't there, so I'm not sure about the details. He said that USGS is located in Menlo Park.
