Dec. 15th, 2004 05:14 pmPretty pretty day, today! Well, not weather-wise, because damn, that's the ugliest weather. All rainy and gray.
Anyway, I watched the parliament debate for a few hours (while perhaps shouting at the screen a couple of times *cough*), and then at about 2 pm my mom came home and we went to Christiana to buy a candle stick (which was made at the Women's Smithery. Weird place...). After that we went to the Christiania Christmas Market, which was very nice and odd. But that's Christiania for ya!
Then my mom came up with a genious plan; we should go to the Parliament ourselves. Yay!!It was especially great, because my mom had never been there before, so I could show her around a bit. The first thing we notices was how friendly everyone who worked there were. They made little jokes, smiled and were really nice, so I think I'm definitely coming back in the near future! With or without anyone else (sidenote: Frank Jensen is now talking in the finance debate on TV. Yes, I am a dorky fangirl. I'll just write more in a bit... *time passes* Now he's done!). Anyway, all in all we were at Parliament for 1 1/2 hour, just listening to the debate. We heard Pernille Rosenkrantz-Theil, Morten Helved-Petersen, the Secretary of Finance and heard the shorter comments to his speach afterwards. Frank Jensen came into the Chamber at one point and I literally had to catch mu breath. I was quite amused by that afterwards, because that really surprised me! He isn't that cute...!! Pia Christmas-Møller (yes, that is her name) looked at me at one point and it took all my strength not to make a nasty face at her. Because, she is both evil and has the most annoying voice ever. Think Fran Fine, but the Copenhagen-ish version. Oh, and I managed to make a new friend! DR's political commentator looked at me a few times, so I smiled at him and he smiled back. Way! And speaking of DR; they show the debate on TV, and when the monologues get too boring, they film the spectators. So I think I was on TV at least twice...! All in all we had a good, but kinda uneventful stay at Christiansborg. But I'm coming back!
*cough*

I need a Danish politics fangirl icon. Anyone want to make it?

There really aren't a lot of good pictures... Hmm..
Oh, and if you have time, could I get one that says 'bitch', or something like that, on this picture?
Thanks!
