vampirespider just left after being at my house for almost 13 hours, watching the Lord of the Rings. It was such a strange experience, because it was really nice to watch the movies again and geek about them and stuff like that, but it still felt like such a sad ending to the last three years. We both have so many memories and friends because of these movies, so to watch them all with Chris was like the end of an era, albeit a very short one. The movies really have changed me as a person...

I think what I'm trying to say is that we had a very very nice time with all the geeking, the squeeing (Éomer is still my woobie and Faramir just needs a big long hug and a kiss. And he's my woobie), the crying, the laughing, the everything. I love LOTR and I love Chris. Together is just perfect.

I know what you mean! It's been such a huge deal; our seperate lives and our friendship have both been strongly impacted by it and the fandom that went with it; makes you wonder if we'd be who we are today, had it not been there. It makes me both happy and sad in such a lovely perfect way.

That said, today was awesome and I love you too. Oh, and Merry and Pip are so my woobies. My poor, poor dears. *wanders of to re-read Nocturne*
