I think I miss Italy

I'm watching BBC Food in Italy and I suddenly realised that I miss listening to Italian and Italians talking English. I miss my Italian cousin. He used to come to Denmark real often and usually bring a few of his friends, but it's been a while since he was here. Two years, I think. And now my parents are going to Italy in week 7, but I'm no going. I miss Taormina! I miss real Italian ice cream! I miss real Italian food! I miss the corzo! I miss the beach! I miss Castelmola! I miss the little streets that are like labyrinths! I miss the neverending sound of mopeds! I miss the view of Etna from the apartment! I miss the view of the sea from the apartment!

*cough* I think I miss Italy...

Thinking of it, I also miss Italy. (Especially the icecream). Ofcourse, only 2% of as much as you do.

We could miss Italy together! There're two shops in Copenhagen where you can buy real Italian ice cream every summer. *sigh* I want some now...

Why aren't you going with them? it would be the perfect opportunity to see Italy again!

Because I am unemployed and I have to keep all options open, so I can't just leave the country if I somehow could end up at an interview. Yes, I know I am being way too hopeful about the future, but, yeah...

I think the next time I'll go to Italy will be this summer with some friends. If I can get them to agree with me that we should go to Rome or Venice.
