Sometimes DK4 can just save the day. Usually it's because of the live transmission from Parliament, but not today. Today they have live transmission from the Socialdemocrats' congress. You know, the one where they'll find out who the new leader of the party will be. I nearly cried when they sang "Når jeg ser et rødt flag smælde", because it was just so beautiful in that really sad way. The speaches are also really great, especially Mogens Lykketoft's and DSU's leader Jakob Bjerregaard's. I really hope Poul Nyrup will speak at some point. I think Mette Frederiksen is going to hold a speach, too.

But the best thing about this is that Frank Jensen (hopefully the new leader *crosses fingers*) is sitting next to Jeppe Kofod. And they look at each other and smile. And they look at each other and laugh. And they smile and laugh and are confortable with each other. And I want them to make out right there in front of so many thousands Socialdemocrats. And, also? Awwwww!!! *melts*

ETA: Mette Frederiksen just helf her speach. I really am awestruck at her way of speaking. She must be one of the most ideological people in all of Denmark. I love her speaches and I love that she loves Mogens so much. She actually made him cry, but then agai, it was an ecceptionally good speach. I agree when people say that she would make a great leader of the Socialdemocrats, but she's just not ready yet. She's only in her 20's and needs to be a Secretary of something before trying the leader-thing.
