Had an absolutely wonderful time yesterday. I met up with Maria and Rebekka at noon to watch the carnival parade on Strøget. I felt like I was a child all over again, because my parents used to be in a carnival group (called 'Krig and Fred', 'War and Peace'), so I've listened to them rehers the melodies and watched them in the parade all through my childhood. The guy who they used to play with had made a new group, which is already the biggest. So, yeah. I had a wonderful time and I'm sure they did as well.

Afterwards we went to Rebekka's appartment and hung out for some hours and goofed off. Line joined us and we went to the carnival in Fælledparken, where we saw a lot of samba groups play. Line and I have decided to try out salsa and, if we can find a group, maybe samba as well. We both want to play the drums, because they are Teh Cool. We also got our faces painted and it turned out really well. We went back to Rebekka's appartment to change clothes and then took a cab to The Australian Club, but got hi-jacked by a guy who gave us free tickets to Krasnapolski because of our painted faces. Very very cool. We had some shots, but then decided to go to A bar next door.

At A bar we totally ruled the dance floor. I don't know if it was the paint in our faces or the alchohol, but we totally let lose and danced like never before. And you know what? There was this total Christian Poulsen look-alike (with long blond hair in a thin head band and everything! Eeee!!) who I danced with. Very very distracting, I must say *nods*. We also played pool and foosball against two very nice guys. At about 4:30 we went back to Rebekka's appartment to get our stuff and Line and I rode our bicycles home in the light of the rising sun. Ah, yes... Very pretty.

And now, no hangover! Woot!! Maybe I'll go lie in the sun with a book later on. And maybe I'llpost pictures later ;)
