Jan. 6th, 2006 04:27 pmI'm doing much better today - I haven't even felt an urge to cry yet, which is a victory in it self. Thanks for the songrecs yesterday, they really helped. Sofie, I'm guessing you sent me that Shubidua-song? I used to listen to them for *hours* every day when I was younger, so that song really cheered me up!
We started our theme project today, solving the motorway problem from Århus to Herning, through or near Silkeborg. Do you weigh the city or nature (ie. Gudendalsåen) the highest? Should be a lot of fun, plus I'm writing with Kathrine, Jesper and Andreas, so that couldn't be any better.
Tonight I'll be all by myself, watching Apocalypse Now, which I'm really looking forward to.
Oooh! Maria and I went to look at some apartments yesterday and we applied for both of them! We'll probably not get any of them, but now we've really started applying and everything. It's so weird...

Date: 2006-01-06 05:00 pm (UTC)Oh, man. My father's from Silkeborg. Don't tell him if you weigh the wrong thing (i.e. the city). That is, unless you want a lecture on the importance of preserving one the most unique places in Denmark.
omg. APARTMENT! When you get one, you're inviting me, y'hear?

Date: 2006-01-06 07:36 pm (UTC)1/ Yay you for sending that song to me. I used to listed to Shubidua so much (I got a double tape when I turned 7), so I knew that song by heart. It was nice thinking of child-hood memories...
2/ I think I'm leaning mostly toward the solution where the motorway is closest to the city, because otherwise you'd have to let the road go through a lot of protected nature - nature you can't find anywhere else in the world, as in special bushes and frogs and stuff. But the good thing is that we don't have to come up with any final solutions, because we have to do two (or more) suggestions and then discuss the pros and cons. So, yay!
3/ I know! So much! And it's so great, because Kathrine from geo just moved two days ago to an apartment *right across the street!* We would have so much fun... Plus, she's going to teach me how to run and stuff.

Date: 2006-01-08 12:13 pm (UTC)1/ I'm glad. I love Shubidua as well. :)
2/ Probably best. I mean, the nature there is *astounding*.
3/ OMG! You must tell me all about it! How big is it, where is it, how much does it cost etc...

Date: 2006-01-08 12:26 pm (UTC)2/ Exactly. And I think we all agreed yesterday that it would be best to lead it through the city, so no argument there.
3/ I think I'll just wait and see if I actually get the place and not get my hopes up too high :)

3/ Of course. It's just that I'm very, very interested, you see.
