Jul. 2nd, 2003 02:04 amSo, now I'll rant a little about today. Just because.
Okay, so my aunt and her baby boy, Jonathan (Alejandro Perez Japsen. I just love his name), has been in Cuba for 6 months, living with his father, but they got back Saturday. Jonathan is now about 10 months old and so so so cute!! He's just so charming! He laughs and smiles all the time! Gah! They were here today to eat shrimps (Danish summer tradition. At least in my family) and he just charmed his way into our hearts.
And also. I'm leaving again this Thursday morning, because I'm going the see my dad in California (he's working at Stanford University at the moment) for 2 weeks. After that me, my mom and my sister are going to New York for a week. The thing is that I really want to go, but because of my first trip without my parents (to Ireland) I've completely not thought of it at all, so now I have to unpack and then pack again, which is really weird. I'd also like to stay here in Copenhagen for some days more, also because I want to see my friends and stuff. But I can't.
Last, but not least, I have a book recommendation. It's called "The Eagle's Shadow" and it's written by Mark Hertsgaard. It's, as the Danish title reveals, an explanation of the USA and I just love it and him to pieces. Chris, I have you in mind for this one, but anyone can read it. Americans and non-Americans. Just read it!
Now I will go to bed as it is 2 am and my mom will wake me up early. Go me.
