Aug. 1st, 2003 02:29 amI promised Chris (
vampirespider) that I's uptade a little bit, so I thought I'd write about last night.
Now, Maria and I hadn't really seen the other girls for some time, so we thought we'd invite them over for a video night. Thea was still in France, we couldn't get in touch with Line and Nina and Anne was in Jutland (but who cares). So we ended up being me, Maria, Rebekka and Nicole. It was actually pretty nice. We got pasta al cabonnara for dinner and my mom asked good questions (she can be embarrasing, just like any normal parent). Then Nicole came and we watched "Three Kings". None of us knew what the movie was about, but since my dad had bought it in the US we thought we'd give it a chance. The weird thing is that it's about the Golf War and me and Rebekka have had this argument about the war in Irag for almost 5 months now. She's for, I'm against. But somehow we were able to watch this movie without starting huge arguments! I was really proud of us!
Then we saw Harry Potter 2, which I'd gotten as a gift (from the insurance money we're getting) because my luggage was 3 days late in San Francisco. Rebekka hadn't seen it (haven't even read the books!), so she didn't have a clue. Which must have been very annoying, because the three of us (me, Maria and Nicole) kept talking about what's going to happen in book 3, 4 and 5. In the end she just gave up. She gives up very easily... But we had so much fun watching those movie. Nicole said that Draco keeps putting his finger into the mouth of stuff (this Mandrakes and the Hippogriffs, I think) and after that Maria said that Harry looked like he was blowing something. I laughed so much I got asthma.
And also, before Nicole came she wrote to me over MSN that Thea and her new girlfriend (Sabrina) had broken up after only one week. I really don't know what to think anymore. It all goes so fast!
