First: my webcam won't work, so I have to wait 'til I can talk to the person who gave it to me (he's a computer expert, so...). *sigh*

Second: Yesterday was wonderful. It was perfect weather, so we could use our (tiny) backyard, but that's okay. We had hired a kichen help, so we didn't have to do the whole serving part. We ended up being just about 40 people.

From 2 pm and the next 15 minutes about 30 of thos 40 came, so everything was a bit hecktick. I had invited aeveryone from my class, my whole family (about half of them came) and two groups of family friends.

The first hour was just general bonding and drinks, but then we let the masses near the food. We had actually been thinking there would be too much food, but it was quite the contrary! They ate everything!!

During lunch we songs came. We have, in Denmark, a very weird tradition of taking well-known songs and writing embarassing lyrics to them and this party was no different. My parents knew me well enough to write a really embarassing speach/song, so they just sang something along the lines of we're going to celebrate Teresa today... to the "Finiculi, finicula"-song (Italian song). But that wasn't the case with my aunts' song. She always writes songs to birthdays, so I guess I would have been a bit disappointed if she hadn't written a song, but... Well, I'll just say that the girls will use it against me at some point. I said to Line "You will not show it to 27 persons!!" to which she answered "more like 350...!" (our school has 350 students...)

And then dessert came (homemade ice cream, my grandmom's chocolate cake and self-imported Sicilian almond cakes) and they ate all of that, too.

All in all the day was perfect. And to make a perfect day you have to work really hard to make it that way. So when the time came for the whole Pan and going out-thing came up. I had to say to them that I was really bombed and I would much rather just stay home and talkt and watch a movie. So when almost everyone had left (except for my cousin Lasse, who had to sleep over) we put on Bridget Jones (at that point we were only me, Thea, Line, Maria and Nicole. Even my sister had left!), but it was really nice. And before that we had all just sat and talked. My family talked to my friends, and stuff like that. Thea and my 10-year-old cousin have the same mobile phone, so they talked about that and so on... It was so nice!!

And right now I'm so happy we didn't go out. I've been very tired all day and I've had a head ache, too.

Maria and Line has just been over to see a program on Discovery about Queen Nefertiti's tomb, which was actually very interesting!

I'll post a list of my gifts tomorrow, if I get the time...
