Rambling!!
Dec. 9th, 2003 11:58 pmOkay... Loads of things have happened since I last posted, which was about a week ago.
This weekend me and my dad went to Aarhus, which is the second lagest city in Denmark, for my uncle's 50th birthday. It was so nice! Me and my dad spent 5 hours in a car (it took 3½ hours the other way...Blah). We were only 8 people all in all, so it was real nice.
Yesterday we had Religion in school from 8 am - 3 pm and I'll bet that that was as close to hell as you can come on Earth. My teacher just has no educational skills, at all! We had blackboard education (all the teaching was teacher - student, no movies or group work, which is what these long days are for) att bloody day!!
Today was kind of weird. Half History, half English, but nothing to tell really. At 6 pm I went to my driving lesson, which was only my second practical lesson. It was pretty hard, because last time we just drove kinda straight, and it was daylight, but this time we drove all over Copenhagen and it was dark. But I did pretty well!!

My mom has told be that for every 0.1 grade I go up in my overall grading, I'll get 300 kr. (50 $). Right now my average is 8.5, but I've had some bad months, so I think I can get some money out of this!
Chris, Divya and I are going to see Viggo and Peter Jackson at the Danish Lord of the Rings premiere in Tivoli. Divya is coming, I hope, all the way from Sweden, so *yay!!*
Nina is in the hospital with appendicitis, so she hasn't been to school all week, and will not come until next week... I'm really sad that I haven't been able to visit her at the hospital...
On saturday I have a 10:30 appoinment with a hairdresser. Any good tips? Later that day I'll so to a so-called "christmas lunch", which is just a sorry excuse for Danes to get together and eat loads of christmas food and get extremely drunk, so that should be fun!!

What should I get my sister for christmas? Chris?

Date: 2003-12-10 02:25 am (UTC)God, I feel so sorry for you. No one should have to go through that - it's torture!
On the other hand, you get to see Viggo Mortensen ( squee ), and I suppose it's worth it.
Oh, and have fun at your Christmas lunch! I was at one this Saturday with my class, but had to cut it short because of my being sick.

Date: 2003-12-17 06:28 am (UTC)Not many Danish boys keep a diary/journal thingie, but I do because I like to write stuff and share it with other people:)

Date: 2003-12-18 09:19 am (UTC)And this isn't that much a journal, as it is a new way of chatting with others.
Tror amerikanere virkelig det? Det værste jg har været ude for er at de tror Danmark er hovedstaden i Holland og at København er hovedstaden i Sverige, men ikke så meget ud over det...

Date: 2003-12-19 04:03 am (UTC)Funny:) I feel the same way! I don't like those lame chatrooms... Never gets you anywhere! All you can talk about is how the weather is and what your name and age is:( You never get into the depth of this person, you're chatting with. LJ is much more sophisticated in the way that you get to know a lot of personal experiences, problems, memories etc... All the ups and downs, which gives you a more personal relation to the person.
