Dec. 14th, 2003 09:06 pmOh. My God. Can I just tell you all how happy I am right now!? I just had the best weekend EVER!!!
Yesterday was really nice, but you can see that in my last post.
Today started with my advent gift, which was some money and a "Det Brune Punktum" DVD (all you Danes should know what I'm talking about)! After that everything started to get REAL nice! Viggo was on Krunsj!! My mom actually said "he's so nice!" Yay!!
Then I went to Hovedbanegården to pick up
vampirespider and
muha, and then we left for Tivoli. At that point it was 2 pm, so we had 3 hours until the whole deal was to
When we got there, it was raining and, of course, I was wearing my very old Converse All Star shoes, which got very wet within the first 20 mins... I am veeeery wise, yes.
We waited for an hour. Then we got moved to another place, because of something with the balance, I think. Then we waited another hour. As the sky got darker and darker, we got more and more excited, cold and wet and our humour got worse and worse. Just across the red carpet there was a lawn on which 20-30 Hobbits played around and it was all veeeery cute! Also, within the nearest 2 metres there were this weird trunk of tree-thingie, in which they had drilled a hole, so they could set it on fire and it would all be veru Viking-ish. The only problem was just that we almost had hurricane-like weather, so we had sparks flying all around and smoke in our eyes.
Then the red carpet started to fill with people, but none of them were very interesting. One girl was from my class, so that was pretty nice. Anders Fogh (that idiot) followed soon after.
Before we knew it both Barrie Osborne and Allan Lee had passed us, so we didn't get any pictures of them. After a while Andy Serkis started to come closer, but it took a while because he was giving autographs. We didn't get one, but the only place he stopped to get a picture was mere half a meter from me!! I could have done ANYTHING to him! *cough*andIwantedto*cough*
Then the lovely John Rhys-Davis came and he gave autographs to every single person, which we was the only one to do. So of course we got ours :D When he signed mine he said "oh, you've got the box set!" and looked very happy. He also made quite a few jokes, among those "oh, no, I'm just the security guard" and "I play Orlando Bloom in the movie." Bernard Hill came very quickly after.
After that it took some time and we stood and got more and more tired. At that point we had been in the cold, wet rain for 4 hours, in which we hadn't sat down at all! Then the Queen, her two sons and their wifes and girldfriends came.
Then suddenly it all went pretty fast. Before we knew it both Viggo and Peter Jackson came by, none of them signing anything, which we were all prett disappointed about. Just behind them came Phillipa Boyens and Fran Walsh. My guess is that they spent so much time signing autographs at the main entrance, so that they had to hurry after that.
Then is was all over! And then we left. Chris and Divya said that I could join them for dinner, but I had some homework to do and I really needed to change my shoes!! I promised my mom that I wont wear them until summer.
But we got some very good pictures (we think) and we will post them as soon as we can!
Both my sister and my mom has said that I look extremely happy, and that is quite exactly how I feel...! Even though we spent 4½ hours in some very Danish weather!

I just called my LOTR-ticket supplier and his words were: "The ticket is yours! You just have to be at the Imperial theater on Tuesday at 4 pm!" Yay!!!! I'm so happy!!
