Jan. 1st, 2004 11:21 pmHappy new year!!
I had a really nice night last night. I went over to Line's house (which is just in the next street) at 6, because we had to see the Queen's speech (which was quite dull, btw). Then we made dinner, which tasted SO good!! Yay us!! At 10 Maria came to join us. She brought a bottle of white wine, so... At 12 we went down to the Lakes with our bottle of champagne. It was seriously SO cold, but it was really nice, because there's always extreme amount of fireworks and people. We had so much fun.
At 1 am we went into downtown Copenhagen, because wewanted to find a club. At 2 we hadn't found any we liked, so we were getting cold and annoyed. As our last hope we went to A-bar, which is kind of weird sometimes, but it turned out to be a great idea, because Nina was there. When we first arrived we were still a bit annoyed and cold, but this guy sitting in the next booth started to hit on Maria saying that she should dance with his brother. She said no, so he started hitting on my, saying that Maria should dance with his brother and I with him. This went on for quite some time (just to add, this guy was seriously drunk!) At one point I sat talking to Nina and then suddenly I can feel a hand at that place where a shirt stops and the pants begin. Then we left the booth to go dancing.
The music was alright, but there are some weird folks a that place, three of them kept hitting on Maria and they just kept appearing out of nowhere. No matter what we did one of them was there. But it was really funny!
We sat down at a booth where a single man was sitting. I thought he was just waiting for some friends, but Line and Maria later told me that it took him a long time to get the courage to talk to me, and that he kept looking at me. One of his friends, apparently, also came over saying that he should talk to me. I realised none of this. When he finally talked to me, I found out that he was from Iceland, but living in Sweden. Then he asked me if I lived in Malmö (which is in Sweden). I said no, I live here in Copenhagen. "But you're Swedish, right?" I didn't really know what to answer, but I guess I took it as a compliment...! Then Maria and Line wanted to dance, so I didn't get to talk to him anymore, which I regret so much, because he was really cute, in that geekish sort of way (that I've realised is a serious turn-on for me... *grin*)
When the Maria-stalking got too extreme, at about 5:30 am, we went home. Actually at Nørreport (the subway-station) someone called out "Hey, Teresa!", and the person turned out to be Peter from my old class. I've seriously known him all my life, this is the only point in my life I don't have any connection with him. Anyway, we walked part of the way together, which was really nice. The weird thing is that the last time I was walking by that exact spot at God knows when in the morning another person recognised me. I can only guess who it'll be the next time...!
I was back in my bed at 6:30 and all in all it had been a really nice night!!

Today was not nearly as nice. I didn't have a hang over, because I hadn't been drinking that much. But when I woke up I'd gotten my period, so I've had cramps all day, besides being extremly tired. I've also found out that the assignment we have to write this year as a special assignment (3rd year-report) is in the beginning og February, not in the end. So I've just lost 2-3 weeks of the time I thought I had. And realising that, I've found out that I don't have enough time to do the rest of my school work, as I will have to spend all my time doing research.
So you people have better get used to the fact that I will not be able to get online as much as I have been...
That was all; I will now go to bed...
(To the Danes: how lame was Anders Fogh Rasmussen's new years' speech?!)

Oh, damn, Teresa, I'm sorry to hear about the 3rd year report - but it's more important than us. ::hugs::

And, yeah, Fogh's speech was lame - very lame! But what else would you expect from him?
